Michelle and I got to spend time with my nephew, my sister (his mom), and my mom. It was cool because i got to finally see my mom graduate from college and get her nursing degree. I was also able to take my sister, my mom, and my nephew with Michelle and I to our favorite home fashion store...IKEA. They just opened one in Westchester, just north of Cincy. It only takes us about an hour and a half to get there as opposed to driving three or four hours to Schaumberg, IL. Now we were able to go to Chicago, one of our favorite cities, when we would go on our IKEA weekend excursions but I like the idea of only 1 1/2 hours in the Element. Braylen, was amazing at IKEA. Four hours in a cart in a large store and he was outstanding...He especially liked cart surfing down the isles. I had a lot of fun hangin' out with my family. I don't get to do it enough. Above are a few photos of Braylen during the last couple of weekends. He is quite cute and funny!!

This is long overdue for a posting...This was my brother Brian's Senior Art Exhibit work. He has come quite a long way in his four years at Ohio Wesleyan University. I am very proud of him and it was awesome to see his work. I also interviewed him when I was up to visit right before his show. I had a blast talking about his work and just hanging out with him. I am still trying to get that interview to transfer so when I figure it out I will post it. He has since graduated from college and has moved to Michigan and got a fairly good job...BRAVO!! Anyways I thought you all might enjoy some of his work as well. Talk to you soon...

Hey guys,
I know I don't get on here quite enough but I hope that I can make that change. I have been working on some Grad School courses to renew my teaching license since about January. The last two or so months it has been killer trying to finish the work up. I have now turned my work in and I am now waiting on my grades. Loads of fun...Enough of that...Michelle and I were hanging out with some friends the other night here in grand ol' Muncie and I was able to capture a very excited puppins, our youngest "son" Yuri. He was happy to be playing with his other hound friends...I hope that those of you that check this out on a regular basis will enjoy this post or at least our puppy.

The Dropkick's Show--Part 1

Michelle surprised me with Dropkick Murphys tickets for my birthday. I was stoked! I have wanted to take Michelle to see them for awhile because they are awesome LIVE and she has never seen them in concert. The bonus was that we were seeing the show with good friends Mary and Jonny. The show was great...March 11, my first show in a long time. I am getting old... There will pics and clips to follow...

Hey guys,
Its been a while since i have posted anything on here. Michelle and i have been spending the summer remodeling our house after the upstairs toilet blew up while we were gone. Needless to say we came home to a large waterfall in our house...WE got most of our house repaired except for some minor finishing touches. We also did some traveling and have been raising our second puppy, Lemmy--a red-tick beagle. Lars is so happy to have a brother, but the potty training isn't quite complete yet...accidents are always fun to clean up. I should have pics up in a few days...Talk to you soon.

Well...we've started the construction process on our house. In time, we will have pics for everyone so you can stay updated on the progress. At this point, we have torn down the ceiling in the living room to make room for the can lights and start the plumbing for the shower up stairs. We've also demoed the bathroom up stairs to get ready for framing. Britt's hard at work and I'm hard at supervising....

St. Patty's Day Fun

Michelle and I were able to spend St. Patty's Day with Mary and Jonny, our good friends from Indy, at the Claddaugh Irish Pub ...good ol' fashioned balley-hoo. We had settled down at crowed bar table for a night of fun and drink when a blessed sound rang in our ears... the sound of bagpipes and drums. These kilt clad musicians made several circles around the bar. Everyone raised their glasses and started singing...if you weren't in the mood before, you sure were now. Hey, if you can't pretend to be Irish on St. Patty's Day when can you? It was a blast hanging out with these cats! HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY via the Irish--that one's for you Jonny.
